Lending criteria

Share to Loan Ratio

  • Members are required to have 1/10th in their share account of the amount they wish to borrow.

Ability to Repay

  • It is our responsibility to all members to ensure that we only lend members’ money to other members when it has been established that there is an ability to repay the loan. A borrower must be able to afford the loan repayments, including interest, over the full duration of a loan.

Loan Amount & Term

  • Members can borrow between €50,000 - €100,000 over a maximum term of 120 months. First legal charges may be required for these loans.
